Services and Fees
Upon completion of the contact form, we provide a free telephone consult to discuss your claim concerns and possible issues to pursue. If you want to just call or send a quick email please do.
Our services are provided on a combined commission/retainer basis ensuring flexibility for clients wishing to secure our services.
AWCC's service contracts are both comprehensive and clear. We accept electronic fund transfers (EFT) for fees. In some circumstances alternate payment methods may be arranged. There are no monthly fees and no pre-charges on credit cards.
We act on your behalf pursuing issues of entitlement and/or denied entitlement up to and including the final level of appeal, the Alberta Appeals Commission.
A commission is applied to retroactive lump-sum entitlement recoveries and disability awards that are the direct result of AWCC advocacy and representation. There is NO commission applied to ongoing benefits.
We are always transparent in what we do. If it is believed that we cannot successfully pursue WCB benefits and/or services on your behalf we will advise you, and we may have suggestions for you or other services to recommend.
Calculating Commission
A simple example is a retroactive $25,000.00 lump sum payout on a previously denied wage loss.
$25,000.00 x 0.15 (15% commission) = $3,750.00 owing on commission.
You retain the remaining $21,250.00 balance AND have also gained an ongoing monthly wage loss payment that is not subject to any commission.
There is NO commission charged for the ongoing wage replacement benefits.
*Retroactive from the decision implementation date.
